Chicago Muslim Speaks for Understanding

Eboo Patel, a leading advocate of interfaith understanding, just wrote a wonderful column in the Chicago Tribune advocating for greater understanding and respect between Muslims and LGBT people.

Patel is the founder of Interfaith Youth Core, a Chicago organization that brings together young people of all faiths.

    Thanks for the link. Great story, but the Eboo Patel story works better… This op-ed piece points out an important thing – people who get involved in one arena often end up addressing other issues (e.g., MLK, Jr. speaking out against the Vietnam War).
